Xiaomi introduced its gaming branch Black Shark’s latest series on 23 March 2021. Which is the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 and 4 Pro. The smartphones feature considerable upgrades over their predecessors – Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro. They feature displays with a 144Hz refresh rate and UFS 3.1 flash storage. Both the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 and 4 Pro come with 120W fast charging right out of the gate.
The differences being in the chipset and camera department both phones have a lot in common thinks. overall, they look like impressive gaming devices. While the pro variant features the top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, the non-Pro model is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset.

The Black Shark 4 and Black Shark 4 Pro are built around a 6.67” E4 AMOLED screen by Samsung with 144Hz refresh rate and a 720Hz touch-sampling rate. It even launched special “e-sports finger gloves” for the most dedicated gamers. Under the hood, Black Shark 4 Pro comes equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone also has an SSD for faster performance. On the other hand, Black Shark 4 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Both the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 and 4 Pro come with a 4,500 mAh battery, and a demo during the event revealed Xiaomi has managed to speed up the charge from 0 to 100% to just 14 minutes 50 seconds. The Black Shark 4 Pro has a 64MP main camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide one, with an auxiliary 5MP sensor sitting alongside those. The regular Black Shark 4 opted for a 48MP main shooter with the other two and the 20MP selfie unit inside a centered punch hole retained. The user interface is JOYUI 12.5, based on Android 11.
